Allison Ryder, MSc. Digital Marketing – BSc. Tourism Marketing.

Since my early days of working in my parents Farmhouse B&B in Wicklow, I have always been passionate about hospitality and customer service.  Now, with 15 years (and a bit!) experience behind me working for international brands such as Marriott, SMEs and semi-state bodies, its still helping tourism, hospitality and food businesses to grow that gets me motivated on a cold February morning!

With the world around us turning digital, it was important for me to up-skill myself in order to be able to offer the most up to date and relevant knowledge to the clients I  partner with. For this reason, I recently undertook a Masters of Science in Digital Marketing and became one of a small number of people here in Ireland qualified as such.   This builds on my undergraduate Degree in Tourism Marketing.  I have also a Certificate in Data Protection in a Digital Age from the Law Society of Ireland and Google Analytics Individual Certification.

Being in a position to impart my knowledge and assist clients is important to me and for this reason I also recently qualified with a Certificate in Training Need Analysis & Design and the Professional Practice Certificate in Training & Development from the Irish Institute Training & Development. 

However, working with corporate clients such as Bank of Ireland, as well as small and medium enterprise, such as Catherine Fulvio’s Ballyknocken House & Cookery School, has given the me the experience of solving real life business and marketing challenges, and has allowed me to develop a series of options to help everyday problems for many clients.
